Set-up details

Thank you for booking a stall at the above fair. I hope you will find it an enjoyable and productive day. Stalls will be allocated when you arrive. This is normally a one-day fair and setting up is from 9am to 11am on Saturday. (When this is a two-day fair the set-up for stalls coming on Sunday only is from 10am on the Sunday). It would be appreciated if stallholders would arrive in good time to set up. Remember it is a condition of booking not to start to pack up before 5.30pm when the show is due to finish.

Please note that due to increased cost and difficulty of supply we are no longer able to supply partition screens for those in the centre of the room. As the venue does not allow posters to be put on the walls or pillars it is recommended that you bring your own freestanding display panels/banners if possible. There are plenty of trestle tables and chairs for display panels to be put upon within your stall.

Feel free to bring a small pile of your leaflets to place on the Exhibitors Leaflets table. This table is for stallholders leaflets only (as well as businesses who pay £10 in advance for this service), so do not place any other leaflets other than your own there. We check the table throughout the day and remove any leaflets which do not belong on it. Please also bring a table cloth to cover your table as the bare tables are less than attractive and if possible a small light to brighten up the stall!

Please either turn down or switch off mobile phones for the duration to ensure that customers can really relax during the taster sessions.

The Caird Hall’s in-house caterers are providing the café with an excellent range of vegetarian rolls, soup, cakes and drinks.

Unloading

You may unload at the stage door at the rear of the building. Trolleys are provided for your use and the lift is situated at the end of the service tunnel, which takes you up one floor to the level of the Marryat Hall (This is at the far end of the foyer).

Parking

There is limited parking at the rear of The Caird Hall itself. The nearest convenient paid parking is under the dual carriageway at the rear of the building or at the underground car park on Crichton Street, adjacent to The Hall (Please check closing times).
